NASA\u2019n\u0131n Dragonfly g\u00f6revi de bu gizemli uyduyu havadan incelemek i\u00e7in haz\u0131rlan\u0131yor.<\/p>\n<p>Otomobil b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcnde, sekiz rotorlu bir ke\u015fif arac\u0131 olan Dragonfly\u2019\u0131n Temmuz 2028\u2019de SpaceX Falcon Heavy roketiyle uzaya g\u00f6nderilmesi planlan\u0131yor. Ara\u00e7, yedi y\u0131la yak\u0131n bir yolculu\u011fun ard\u0131ndan 2034\u2019\u00fcn sonlar\u0131na do\u011fru Titan\u2019a ula\u015facak.<\/p>\n<p>Dragonfly, Titan\u2019da do\u011frudan ya\u015fam izi aramayacak. G\u00f6revin as\u0131l amac\u0131, ya\u015fam\u0131n ortaya \u00e7\u0131kmas\u0131na zemin haz\u0131rlayan kimyasal s\u00fcre\u00e7leri yani prebiyotik kimyay\u0131 ara\u015ft\u0131rmak. Bu y\u00f6n\u00fcyle Dragonfly, yaln\u0131zca Titan\u2019\u0131n nas\u0131l bir g\u00f6k cismi oldu\u011funu anlamam\u0131za de\u011fil, D\u00fcnya\u2019da ya\u015fam ba\u015flamadan \u00f6nce hangi kimyasal s\u00fcre\u00e7lerin etkili olmu\u015f olabilece\u011fine dair sorulara da \u0131\u015f\u0131k tutabilir.<\/p>\n<p>NASA i\u00e7in Johns Hopkins Uygulamal\u0131 Fizik Laboratuvar\u0131 (APL) taraf\u0131ndan y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fclen g\u00f6revde Fransa Uzay Ajans\u0131 (CNES), Almanya Havac\u0131l\u0131k ve Uzay Merkezi (DLR), Japonya Uzay Ara\u015ft\u0131rma Ajans\u0131 (JAXA) ve farkl\u0131 ara\u015ft\u0131rma kurumlar\u0131 da yer al\u0131yor.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Neden Titan?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/science.nasa.gov\/saturn\/moons\/\">Sat\u00fcrn ve uydular\u0131<\/a>na ili\u015fkin bilgilerimiz, NASA\u2019n\u0131n 1979\u2019daki Pioneer 11 g\u00f6revi, 1980 ve 1981 y\u0131llar\u0131ndaki Voyager 1 ve Voyager 2 ge\u00e7i\u015fleri ile 13 y\u0131l s\u00fcren Cassini g\u00f6revinin sa\u011flad\u0131\u011f\u0131 veriler sayesinde b\u00fcy\u00fck \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcde artt\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>Merk\u00fcr\u2019den daha b\u00fcy\u00fck bir uydu olan Titan, yo\u011fun atmosferi, metan bulutlar\u0131, metan ya\u011fmurlar\u0131, g\u00f6lleri ve denizleriyle dikkat \u00e7ekiyor. Titan\u2019da, D\u00fcnya\u2019daki su d\u00f6ng\u00fcs\u00fcn\u00fc hat\u0131rlatan ancak su yerine b\u00fcy\u00fck \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcde metan ve etan gibi s\u0131v\u0131 hidrokarbonlar\u0131n rol oynad\u0131\u011f\u0131 bir d\u00f6ng\u00fc i\u015fliyor. Bu \u00f6zellikleri, Titan\u2019\u0131 Dragonfly g\u00f6revinin amac\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan e\u015fsiz bir do\u011fal laboratuvar h\u00e2line getiriyor.<\/p>\n<p>D\u00f6rt \u00e7ift d\u00f6ner kanata sahip olan Dragonfly, yakla\u015f\u0131k 875 kilogram k\u00fctleye sahip, otomobil b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcnde bir ke\u015fif arac\u0131. U\u00e7abilmesi sayesinde Titan y\u00fczeyinde geni\u015f bir alan\u0131 inceleyebilecek. Dragonfly\u2019\u0131n, \u00fc\u00e7 y\u0131l\u0131 a\u015fk\u0131n ana g\u00f6revi boyunca 20-30 farkl\u0131 b\u00f6lgeye giderek yakla\u015f\u0131k 115 kilometre yol kat etmesi hedefleniyor.<\/p>\n<p>Dragonfly, g\u00f6rev s\u00fcresince Titan\u2019\u0131n kumul alanlar\u0131ndan kraterlerine kadar farkl\u0131 jeolojik b\u00f6lgelerine ula\u015facak. Bu hedefler aras\u0131nda yakla\u015f\u0131k 80 kilometre geni\u015fli\u011findeki Selk Krateri de bulunuyor. Organik maddeler bak\u0131m\u0131ndan zengin oldu\u011fu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclen bu b\u00f6lge, ge\u00e7mi\u015fte s\u0131v\u0131 su bar\u0131nd\u0131rm\u0131\u015f olabilece\u011fi i\u00e7in g\u00f6revin en \u00f6nemli ara\u015ft\u0131rma alanlar\u0131ndan biri olarak g\u00f6r\u00fcl\u00fcyor.<\/p>\n<p>Dragonfly\u2019\u0131n g\u00f6rev s\u00fcresinin b\u00fcy\u00fck b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcnde y\u00fczeyde bilimsel \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcmler yapmas\u0131 planlan\u0131yor ve bir ya da iki Titan g\u00fcn\u00fcnde bir u\u00e7u\u015f ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirmesi bekleniyor. \u201cTsol\u201d ad\u0131 verilen bir Titan g\u00fcn\u00fc, yakla\u015f\u0131k 16 D\u00fcnya g\u00fcn\u00fcne kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131k geliyor.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"titan\" data-entity-type=\"file\" data-entity-uuid=\"950d0472-550c-40cd-b29b-007bc2de333e\" src=\"http:\/\/bilimgenc.tubitak.gov.tr\/sites\/default\/files\/inline-images\/titan.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"gorselAlti\">Detlev Van Ravenswaay\/Science Photo Library<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"gorselAlti\">Titan<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2><strong>Dragonfly\u2019\u0131n teknik \u00f6zellikleri ve bilimsel ara\u00e7lar\u0131<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Titan\u2019\u0131n kal\u0131n ve puslu atmosferi ile G\u00fcne\u015f\u2019e olan uzakl\u0131\u011f\u0131 nedeniyle geleneksel g\u00fcne\u015f panelleri Dragonfly i\u00e7in yeterli enerji sa\u011flayamaz. Bu nedenle ara\u00e7ta \u00c7ok Ama\u00e7l\u0131 Radyoizotop Termoelektrik Jenerat\u00f6r\u00fc (Multi-Mission Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generator &#8211; MMRTG) ad\u0131 verilen bir g\u00fc\u00e7 sistemi kullan\u0131lacak.<\/p>\n<p>MMRTG, daha \u00f6nce Mars y\u00fczeyinde g\u00f6rev yapan Curiosity ve Perseverance ke\u015fif ara\u00e7lar\u0131nda da kullan\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131. Bu teknoloji, pl\u00fctonyum-238 izotopunun radyoaktif bozunmas\u0131 s\u0131ras\u0131nda a\u00e7\u0131\u011fa \u00e7\u0131kan \u0131s\u0131y\u0131 elektrik enerjisine d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr\u00fcyor. Ayn\u0131 zamanda Dragonfly\u2019\u0131n i\u00e7 bile\u015fenlerini Titan\u2019\u0131n dondurucu so\u011fuklar\u0131na kar\u015f\u0131 korumaya da yard\u0131mc\u0131 olacak.<\/p>\n<p>Uzay g\u00f6revlerinde kullan\u0131labilmesi i\u00e7in belirli g\u00fcvenlik ve performans \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fctlerini kar\u015f\u0131lamas\u0131 gereken pl\u00fctonyum-238, n\u00fckleer silahlarda kullan\u0131lan pl\u00fctonyum t\u00fcr\u00fc de\u011fildir ve n\u00fckleer reakt\u00f6r yak\u0131t\u0131 olarak da uygun de\u011fildir. Bu izotopun tercih edilmesinde, uzun s\u00fcre kararl\u0131 bi\u00e7imde \u0131s\u0131 \u00fcretebilmesi, g\u00f6rece d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck k\u00fctleyle y\u00fcksek enerji sa\u011flamas\u0131 ve uygun bi\u00e7imde z\u0131rhland\u0131\u011f\u0131nda bilimsel cihazlar\u0131n \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131n\u0131 engellemeyecek bir radyasyon profiline sahip olmas\u0131 belirleyici oldu.<\/p>\n<p>Dragonfly\u2019\u0131n m\u00fchendislik a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan en b\u00fcy\u00fck zorluklar\u0131ndan biri, Titan atmosferinde kontroll\u00fc u\u00e7u\u015f ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirebilecek kadar hafif ama ayn\u0131 zamanda olduk\u00e7a dayan\u0131kl\u0131 bir ara\u00e7 olarak tasarlanmas\u0131yd\u0131. Bu nedenle arac\u0131n g\u00f6vdesinde ultra hafif, petek yap\u0131l\u0131 paneller kullan\u0131ld\u0131. M\u00fchendisler, Dragonfly\u2019\u0131n f\u0131rlatma s\u0131ras\u0131nda maruz kalaca\u011f\u0131 \u015fiddetli sars\u0131nt\u0131lara ve Titan\u2019a ini\u015f s\u0131ras\u0131nda kar\u015f\u0131la\u015faca\u011f\u0131 kuvvetlere nas\u0131l tepki verece\u011fini yap\u0131sal testlerle inceliyor.<\/p>\n<p>Dragonfly\u2019\u0131n ini\u015f s\u0131ras\u0131nda kullanaca\u011f\u0131 \u0131s\u0131 kalkan\u0131, atmosfer giri\u015finde 2500 \u00b0C\u2019ye kadar ula\u015fabilecek s\u0131cakl\u0131klara dayanacak \u015fekilde karbon fiber ve hafif re\u00e7ineden \u00fcretildi. Ara\u00e7, Titan atmosferinde yava\u015flamak ve y\u00fczeye g\u00fcvenli bi\u00e7imde inebilmek i\u00e7in s\u00fcr\u00fckleme para\u015f\u00fct\u00fc (drogue parachute) ile ana para\u015f\u00fctten olu\u015fan bir para\u015f\u00fct sistemine de sahip olacak.<\/p>\n<p>Dragonfly\u2019\u0131n y\u00fczeye indikten sonra D\u00fcnya ile ileti\u015fim kurabilmesi ve toplad\u0131\u011f\u0131 bilimsel verileri iletebilmesi i\u00e7in \u00fc\u00e7 farkl\u0131 anteni olacak. Bu antenlerin, \u201cKapton\u201d adl\u0131 yal\u0131t\u0131c\u0131 malzeme ile kaplanarak Titan\u2019\u0131n sert \u00e7evre ko\u015fullar\u0131na kar\u015f\u0131 korunmas\u0131 planland\u0131. B\u00f6ylece antenlerin, -179 \u00b0C ila -185 \u00b0C\u2019ye kadar d\u00fc\u015febilen s\u0131cakl\u0131klarda da ileti\u015fimi s\u00fcrd\u00fcrebilmesi hedefleniyor.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00fchendisler, Dragonfly\u2019\u0131n elektronik sistemlerini de kapsaml\u0131 testlerden ge\u00e7iriyor. Arac\u0131n beyni olarak tan\u0131mlanabilecek Entegre Elektronik Mod\u00fcl\u00fc (Integrated Electronics Module &#8211; IEM); komut i\u015fleme, veri y\u00f6netimi, y\u00f6nlendirme, seyr\u00fcsefer ve haberle\u015fme gibi temel i\u015flevleri y\u00f6netecek. Arac\u0131n enerji y\u00f6netiminden ise G\u00fc\u00e7 Anahtarlama Birimleri (Power Switching Units &#8211; PSUs) sorumlu olacak.<\/p>\n<p>Titan\u2019\u0131n farkl\u0131 b\u00f6lgelerini u\u00e7arak ke\u015ffedecek olan Dragonfly\u2019\u0131n d\u00f6ner kanatlar\u0131 da \u00fcretim s\u00fcrecinde pek \u00e7ok test, kontrol ve iyile\u015ftirme a\u015famas\u0131ndan ge\u00e7ti. B\u00fcy\u00fck al\u00fcminyum bloklar\u0131n i\u015flenmesi, kaynaklanmas\u0131 ve son i\u015flemlerden ge\u00e7irilmesiyle \u00fcretilen kanatlar, u\u00e7u\u015fa uygun h\u00e2le getirildi.<\/p>\n<p>Dragonfly\u2019\u0131n ya\u015fam\u0131n ortaya \u00e7\u0131kmas\u0131na zemin haz\u0131rlayan kimyasal s\u00fcre\u00e7leri ara\u015ft\u0131rabilmesi i\u00e7in \u00fczerinde be\u015f farkl\u0131 bilimsel cihaz bulunacak. Bunlardan DraMS yani k\u00fctle spektrometresi, Titan y\u00fczeyinden al\u0131nan \u00f6rneklerdeki kimyasal bile\u015fikleri analiz edecek ve ya\u015fam\u0131n yap\u0131 ta\u015flar\u0131yla ili\u015fkili olabilecek organik molek\u00fcllerin belirlenmesine yard\u0131mc\u0131 olacak. DraGNS ad\u0131 verilen gama \u0131\u015f\u0131n\u0131 ve n\u00f6tron spektrometresi, Titan\u2019\u0131n farkl\u0131 b\u00f6lgelerindeki y\u00fczey malzemelerinin element bile\u015fimini inceleyecek. B\u00f6ylece buz, tuzlar, kaya\u00e7 malzemeler ve organik bile\u015fikler bak\u0131m\u0131ndan farkl\u0131l\u0131k g\u00f6steren b\u00f6lgelerin kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131na katk\u0131 sa\u011flayacak. DragonCam kamera sistemi ise Titan\u2019\u0131n jeolojik yap\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131, y\u00fczey \u015fekillerini ve ini\u015f b\u00f6lgelerini g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fcleyecek.<\/p>\n<p>Dragonfly\u2019da ayr\u0131ca y\u00fczeyden \u00f6rnek almak i\u00e7in DrACO adl\u0131 sondaj ve \u00f6rnek alma sistemi bulunacak. Bu sistem, y\u00fczeyi delerek malzeme \u00f6rnekleri alacak ve bu \u00f6rneklerin kimyasal analiz i\u00e7in DraMS\u2019ye aktaracak. B\u00f6ylece y\u00fczey alt\u0131ndaki malzemeler de incelenebilecek.
