Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon said on Wednesday that &#8220;prices are going to go up&#8221; on the company&#8217;s products starting on September 1st, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2026\/07\/29\/qualcomm-qcom-earnings-report-q3-2026-.html\">CNBC<\/a> reports. The price hikes were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/gadgets\/970910\/qualcomm-raising-prices-bloomberg\">rumored<\/a> last week to be &#8220;a percentage in the double digits.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Qualcomm announced the planned price increases while reporting a 20 percent year-over-year drop in revenue from its handset business, the lowest it&#8217;s reported <a href=\"https:\/\/s204.q4cdn.com\/645488518\/files\/doc_financials\/2021\/q4\/FY-2021-4th-Quarter-Earnings-Release.pdf\">since 2021<\/a>.
